I am Esmie, a photographer and videographer based in Devon, Bristol and London.

I offer personalised photography and videography, photo and video editing and styling.

Photography and film evokes a feeling of aliveness that is so tangible no matter where I am in that moment. That feeling is what keeps me returning to the practise over and over. It is a freedom and a joy when I am with my camera. I adore it. I can’t avoid it. 

How I Work

My most common approach is on location work. I work intuitively – meaning that I can be a fly on the wall if required – or equally as marked and deliberate in creative vision. Your vision is mine – and I can also offer my own guidance and understanding. I choose to capture in many forms – I typically use film and digital cameras, video clips, audio recordings – whatever is desired and required. I also take commissions and event work. 

Inclusivity

Inclusivity and feeling safe is essential in my practise – queer, disabled, trans, non binary, neuro-divergent – any gender, orientation and ability is hugely embraced, accepted and welcomed in my work.
